History of Artificial Ice Events

Built On a Pro Skater’s Experience

A lifetime of skating and a world of experience led to the creation of Artificial Ice Events. Founded by Michael Gallant, a nationally competitive speed skating veteran and owner of event company Perfect Parties USA, Synthetic Ice Skating Events.com is the marriage between his two passions-Ice Skating and Special Events.

At the age of 5, Michael began a 17 year speed skating career. Michael skated 3-5 nights a week with the Bay State Speed Skating Club, and while in high school took part time classes at the National Sports Academy while living and training at the United States Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, New York. Since then Michael has skated in 3 Olympic Trials and has earned recognition as a top national skater. In a career that began at the age of 5, Gallant has won or placed in meets that include Bay State Winter Games, The Eastern Seaboards, and the New York State Short Track Championships. Gallant also touted a gold and silver medal at the Olympic festival and hover a half dozen national championship medals.

Artificial Ice Skates Just Like Real Ice!

The vision of Artificial Ice Events was to provide a realistic yet entirely mobile solution to ice skating. Coming from an extensive background as a speed skater Gallant learned the importance of good ice. It is this knowledge of ice that has forced him to offer the most superior artificial ice on the market. Today Artificial Ice Events prides itself on turnkey synthetic ice solutions. “I offer both mobile and permanent installs and rely heavily on my knowledge gained from years of skating and special events, that other companies just can not duplicate” says Gallant.
